Level divisioning

A-level (8-a-side football)

The team and the players have a very good understanding of the game and a good touch the ball – including a good understanding of how to utilize the entire pitch. The players know how to work together as a team in both in attack and in defense – even under strong pressure from the opponents. The team is able to adapt the tactic according to the opponents and the progress of the match.

B-level (8-a-side football)

The team and the players have a good understanding of the game and a good touch the ball – including an understanding of how to utilize the entire pitch. The team can play well together and function as a team defensively. The team can follow a tactic and deal with the tactic changing during the match.

C-level (8-a-side football)

The team has a certain understanding of the game and a certain understanding of playing as a team as well as a certain understanding of utilizing all of the pitch. The team tries to work together when defending and the team can follow a basic tactic during the match.

D-level (5-a-side football)

The players’ technical skills are limited, and you rarely see long dribbles. The team has only a limited spatial understanding of the pitch and a limited understanding of defending as a team. The team plays the ball a little from player to player and can follow a tactic to a limited extent.

E-level (5-a-side football)

The players’ technical skills are extremely limited, and you almost never see dribbling. Several of the players will have a very poor understanding of using the entire pitch, and you very rarely see a player running into position for another. Several of the players will have a very poor understanding of defending. The team. as a whole, will not be able to follow a tactic.

U-15 (5-a-side football)

The U-15 level is for players who were not yet 15 years old as of 1 January 2024. However, all teams are allowed to have two players who turned 15 in the period 1 July – 31 December 2023.
