Sommerbold på heden (Summer ball on the moor) is organized by Hammerum IF special football. Our motto is that lack of money must not stand in the way of playing football. That is why it is completely free to participate in our events. In 2024, it will be the ninth time that we and our dedicated sponsors give footballers with disabilities, general learning difficulties and social challenges the opportunity to participate in the football party of the year. Hammerum is located right in the heart of Jutland with easy access from the central Jutland highway, making transport to and from the event as easy as possible. Included in the price of DKK 0 is lunch and a souvenir for players and coaches. For Zealand and Swedish teams, we offer to pay the bridge toll – both Storebælt (Great Belt) and Øresund (The Sound). Norwegian teams ferrycosts are compensated as if they had the bridge tolls of a swedish team. Free of charge (incl. meals) and it is also possible for players, coaches and relatives to spend the night from Friday to Sunday or from Friday to Saturday at the school right next to the pitches. In the neighboring city of Herning you also find many hotels and motels if you want to arrange the sleepover yourself.
